This is an issue in communication between the application and the store. Read below the most common steps that might help you restore your purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are switching to a different platform, like Android or iOS, restoring your purchase is not available. Read more here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/faq.daylio.net\/article\/30-cross-platform-support-ios-and-android\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cross-platform support (iOS and Android)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Android<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Daylio automatically checks for the previous purchases during the Welcome intro and whenever you open the Buy Premium screen. But sometimes something does not work; therefore, you can try the following steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make sure Google Play has recognized purchases. To verify this, see an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/googleplay\/answer\/2850369?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">official tutorial<\/a>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If Google Play has taken money from your account, but you do not see the purchase in your account, you can wait a couple of days or&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/googleplay\/answer\/2851610?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Report unauthorized charges<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Have you applied for a refund?<\/strong>&nbsp;In this case, the store returns you money and disables the PREMIUM license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/googleplay\/answer\/2851610?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a>If you see you have bought Daylio:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Do you have multiple accounts?<\/strong> Please, make sure you are logged in under this Google account on your phone in Google Play Store.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/googleplay\/answer\/2521798?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How to change Google account in Play Store?<\/a>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:#f6c99c\" class=\"has-inline-color has-contrast-color\"><strong>IMPORTANT:&nbsp;<\/strong>The app is connected to Google Account when it is installed. When you make an in-app purchase the payment will be connected to the original account that was used for installation. If you reinstall the app with a different Google Account your purchase cannot be restored.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Try removing non-related accounts from Play Store and perform clean installation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you still see the free version try to clean the Google Play cache and data. This will remove your local data and entries. Please make sure you have your cloud backup before&nbsp;<strong>Clearing Data<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to Settings &gt; Installed apps &gt; Google Play &gt; Clear Cache and Clear Data. Open the app again and go to Buy Premium screen. Your previous purchase should be automatically restored.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restart the device. Turn it off and on again. There might be some process blocking the restoration so it is always useful to start with a clean slate. Make sure you are connected to the internet and go to &#8216;Buy Premium&#8217; screen. Your purchase should be automatically restored.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kill the app. This means you need to stop the app from running in the background and force it to refresh. Here are some ways to do that on different Android systems:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can hit the&nbsp;<em>Recent apps<\/em>&nbsp;button on your phone and tap the X next to open apps or swipe them right or left to close them. However, this doesn\u2019t necessarily stop background services and processes from running.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have a device running Android 6.0 or above and you go to&nbsp;<em>Settings &gt; Developer options<\/em>&nbsp;<em>&gt; Running services,<\/em>&nbsp;you can tap on active apps and choose to&nbsp;<em>Stop.<\/em>&nbsp;You\u2019ll see a warning if an app cannot be stopped safely.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For older versions of Android (before 6.0), in&nbsp;<em>Settings &gt; Developer options<\/em>&nbsp;<em>&gt; Process statistics<\/em>, you can tap on an active app and choose&nbsp;<em>Force stop<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In any version of Android, you can also go to&nbsp;<em>Settings &gt; Apps<\/em>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<em>Settings &gt; Applications &gt; Application manager,&nbsp;<\/em>and tap on an app, and tap&nbsp;<em>Force stop<\/em>. Older versions of Android have a&nbsp;<em>Running<\/em>&nbsp;tab in the&nbsp;<em>Apps<\/em>&nbsp;list, so you can easily see what\u2019s actually running, but this no longer appears in Android 6.0 Marshmallow. If an app isn\u2019t running, then the&nbsp;<em>Force stop<\/em>&nbsp;option will be grayed out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are not able to restore purchases in Daylio but you are logged in under the right account, and Google displays your payment, you can refund the purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">iOS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You need to be using the&nbsp;<strong>same&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Apple ID<\/strong>&nbsp;for AppStore as the one from which you made a purchase. If you have multiple accounts,&nbsp;ensure you are logged in to AppStore with the right one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In Daylio application tap on the PREMIUM item to get to the Purchase screen. On the purchase screen, tap on the &#8220;<strong>Restore<\/strong>&#8221; button in the top right corner.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can also find&nbsp;the&nbsp;<strong>Restore&nbsp;<\/strong>button in More &gt; About section.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/HT204396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Check the restrictions<\/a>&nbsp;on your device to make sure in-app purchases are allowed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kill the app and open it again. This means you need to stop the app from running in&nbsp; the background &nbsp;and force it to refresh. You can do it by hitting the home button twice and slide up on the Daylio app. This will close it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restart the device. Turn it off and on again.
